An Iranian art firm offers trip to Ghazali Cinema Town near Tehran.

Tiwall, an Iranian art and culture firm, has offered trip to Ghazali Cinema Town near Tehran.

Visitors may walk through the settings, places and streets built for great cinema and TV projects. The decors are based on historical photographs, drawings documents and descriptions.

Regular tourist trips often pay visits to movie-prop city Ghazali Cinema Town, whose services provide an unforgettable experience of unique atmosphere as well as cultural events.

Affiliated with the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) and covering an area of about 10 hectares, the cinema town is located 14 kilometers from the capital, Tehran.

Ghazali Cinema Town is comprised of buildings, streets and places, which have been created by referring to historical photographs and drawings.

Tourists can travel back to the 1950’s and visit Toopkhaneh Square as well as the old buildings of Tehran Municipality in its splendor.

As a cinema town that provides sets for many films and serials over the years, tourists can see a replica of the city of Nazareth, a set made for the TV series ‘Saint Mary’ (2000), written and directed by Shahryar Bahrani.

More than a dozen of other ifilm movies and series, including 'Tabriz in Fog' and 'Pahlavi Hat' were filmed in Ghazali Cinema Town.

The movie-prop town has three major sections, including Lalezar Street, Tehran Municipality building and Toupkhaneh Square.

Ghazali Cinema Town is also known as Iran Cinema and Television Town.
